(who is) Matthew Knight

Hello, I’m Matthew Knight.

I’ve spent my entire career being passionately curious (both definitions of the word).

I was co-founder and technical director of award winning creative agency de-construct, and spent my time helping clients understand what they wantedneeded, and the technology teams understand what the clients neededwanted.

Subsequently, I have worked with a number of organisations and agencies developing and delivering ideas for clients including Adidas, Nokia, Pedigree, HP, Microsoft, Accenture, Cadbury, Nike, Innocent, Universal Music, John Lewis, Sainsburys, BBC and others, under the guise of Yarned.

I’ve helped D&AD develop a digital attitude, Nokia create an open R&D programme, putting a network of sensors on pro-snowboarders; helped Pedigree develop a cross-platform training programme; consulted for Accenture; developed concepts of future storytelling for HP; allowed Nike to face up their product in their retail spaces; enabled Ellie Goulding to connect with her fans; and co-designed tweeting radios for the NHS.

Most recently, I’ve found myself a home at Carat UK, where I head up the Strategy and Innovation team, helping to solve our clients most audacious challenges, by connecting together the talent within the Dentsu Aegis Network. I’ve worked on clients including Diageo, Microsoft, Arla, Disney, Mattel, Lego, and adidas.

The things that truly make me happy include my two daughters, drinking coffee, collecting magazines, typography, true design, loud music, crappy films, meeting interesting people, and coffee. I did mention coffee, right? Coffee.
